Come meet Chitty’s builder Tony Garofalo in person, take photos and see the car that was driven and autographed by actor Dick Van Dyke in 2016, the star of the April 2018 issue of Hemming’s Classic Car magazine, the New York Times, and the 2016 NY International Auto Show!

“Come see New York’s own Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Car LIVE and in-person, along with an appearance by Hollywood and Broadway legend “Chita Rivera” at the historic United Palace Theatre in NYC!!! Special guest packages available for purchase include the pre-show VIP reception and photo with the car, or a meet-and-greet with Chita Rivera. General Ticket purchase also includes a full theatre projection screening of the 1968 movie “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”!

Q&A sessions with Chita Rivera and the car’s builder, Tony Garofalo, will also be part of the event itinerary.

We're happy to announce the new short documentary film Welcome Home, Dick Van Dyke! The film is a rare look into the life of Hollywood legend, Dick Van Dyke. Chitty is featured in the film, and there’s a small cameo scene with Tony speaking to Dick, talking about Chitty’s wings and its operations… very cool! Follow Mr. Van Dyke's return to his hometown of Danville, IL, as he tours the city in Tony's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Replica Car, and visits his recently condemned childhood home for the first time in over 60 years.
